Ogri’la will be shutting down, so save your favorite ogres and make those last images while you can! There is not a specific date at the moment, so don’t hesitate!

After around 18 years running websites about playable ogres in some form, I regret to say that I cannot continue doing so. I still love the ogres of Warcraft and hope to see them playable in World of Warcraft some day, but my life has changed a lot in all that time, and I apparently have not been able to give the ogres the dedication they deserve.

Cross-faction instances announced!

Ogre happy we finally work together. To ogre Horde and Alliance don’t matter, only that you strong. Ogre can only hope this be expanded to open world some day.

Kovork Kostume is an item from the boss Kovork in the new Arathi Highlands that allows you to temporarily gain the appearance of an ogre. Unfortunately, the item’s drop rate seems to be bugged. While it apparently dropped very commonly initially, it seems to drop very rarely if it all for over a year now. Hopefully we can spread the word and get this fixed.

If this was for some reason intentional, maybe we can convince them to bring this item back.

Ogre not gone.

New starting area in real game, Exile’s Reach, feature ogre necromancer, ogre fortress, and ability to disguise as ogre for short quest.

Also, new customization system be much fun. Make implementing customization for ogre heads much better than ogre creator.

Ogre also realize two post ago vindicated again. Level squish and Chromie Time affect all zone idea. Please enjoy zones, don’t worry too much about level range.

Ogre say Horde is strong, too. For Azeroth!

You may notice that ogre not update much recently. Something ogre run into lot over course of site, are thing coincidentally contradicting different part. From story detail, to most recent being now Mag’har Allied Race have Pureblood as name of racial (although it since renamed). Thing like that start to add up. Whole site start to feel outdated, especially after Allied Race system. So, site may continue to not change much while ogre consider how to keep up with times.

Ogre pirate now available in Ogre Creator, as ogre rogue. Rogue be popular request for some time, so ogre finally add.

Demon Hunter also renamed to Magic Breaker. Ogre still like design, but figure it better if he just use actual name of design, even if not real class for now.

Update: Bug currently with rogue hat.

New, second World of Warcraft Traveler book have adult female ogre art. Name of Karrga.
